What Size Decking Rope Fittings Do I Need?

The size of the fitting stated corresponds to the size of the rope it is matched for. For example, if you purchase 24mm rope, you should order 24mm rope fittings.

All of our decking rope fittings are specifically designed to fit our decking ropes for a snug and secure fit. As these fittings are exclusively designed for use with our products, we cannot guarantee compatibility with decking ropes purchased elsewhere.

🔹 Please Note: Decking ropes often measure slightly thicker than their stated diameter once cut off the coil and no longer under tension. To ensure a proper fit, this cup end has an internal diameter approximately 3-4mm wider than the stated 36mm, allowing for the natural expansion of the rope off the coil.

How to Fit:

1. Secure the cup end: Use the provided screws to attach the cup end to your chosen surface.
2. Bind the rope end: Wrap electrical tape tightly around the rope end to prevent fraying, ensuring a snug fit.
3. Insert the rope: Remove the centre screw and feed the rope into the cup end.
4. Drill a pilot hole: Carefully drill a small pilot hole in the rope to help guide the screw in.
5. Screw in place: Carefully reinsert the centre screw, ensuring it makes firm contact with the rope to hold it securely and screw into place.
