Our decking rope cup ends are designed slightly wider (approx. 2mm) than the stated rope diameter. This allows for natural rope expansion, and accounts for variations once the rope is off the coil.

However, for synthetic ropes with true diameters, you may need to order a size down to ensure a snug fit with your rope cup ends. We recommend tightly binding the rope end with tape before fitting – and you may need to add extra layers for a secure hold.

The size of the cup end rope fitting corresponds to the size of the rope it is designed for. For example, if you purchase 24mm rope, you will need 24mm rope cup ends fittings.

Our cup end rope fittings are specifically designed to fit our decking rope, ensuring a secure and professional finish. We cannot guarantee compatibility with ropes purchased elsewhere.

🔹 Sizing Note: Decking ropes may measure slightly thicker than their stated diameter once cut off the coil and no longer under tension. To ensure a proper fit, our rope cup ends have an internal diameter approximately 3-4mm wider than the stated rope size, allowing for natural rope expansion.

How to Fit Decking Rope Cup Ends?
  1. Secure the rope cup end – Use the provided screws to attach it to your chosen surface.
  2. Bind the rope end – Wrap electrical tape tightly around the rope end to prevent fraying and ensure a snug fit.
  3. Insert the rope – Remove the centre screw and feed the taped rope through the rope cup end.
  4. Drill a pilot hole (if needed) – Carefully drill a small pilot hole in the rope to help guide the screw in.
  5. Fasten in place – Reinsert the center screw, ensuring it makes firm contact with the rope to hold it securely.
