Cup Ends

Our decking rope cup end fittings are made slightly wider (approx 3-4mm) than the diameter of the rope they are matched for. This is because decking ropes can measure thicker than stated once off the coil and to allow room for expansion in girth of natural ropes. Therefore, please check the diameter of your rope before ordering. For synthetic rope with true diameters it may be necessary to order a size down or they could end up being too wide for the rope. We advise to tightly bound the end of your rope with tape before fitting; it may be necessary to build up your rope with extra tape to get the snug fit needed. When ordered together with our ropes we will always check the cup ends fit the rope you have ordered before sending, so you can be sure you will get a good fit.
