Polyhemp/Hempex Ropes

Polyhemp rope – also known as synthetic hemp or hempex rope – is a three-strand twisted rope made out of hard-wearing polypropylene fibres. What’s great about these, is that they benefit from the sturdier properties of polypropylene, whilst retaining the look and feel of natural hemp ropes.

Uses for polyhemp and hempex ropes

As our polyhemp ropes are synthetic and hard-wearing, they are our most popular ropes for use with garden decking and a range of other outdoor applications such as:

Diameters: Available from 6mm to 40mm but can also take requests.

Tip! Please note this rope can often measure thicker than stated. We advise not to drill posts before receiving your rope.
